Art of the African Diaspora

Studio 11 is honoring Black History Month 2025 with the theme Bridges of Hope: Building Community through Black History and Art. This year’s exhibit explores the power of connection, the journey of progress, and the ways art unites and uplifts communities.

The Black Child Book Fair: From Chicago to the Bay

The Black Child Book Fair, founded in 2019, is dedicated to promoting literacy in Black communities. This inspiring event has been hosted in 15 cities across the U.S. and internationally. Transit Equity Day aims to highlight the vital importance of public transportation in an equitable and sustainable community and is celebrated on February 4 in honor of Rosa Parks’ birthday. On this day, we are reminded that AC Transit must continue our work of making transit more equitable, sustainable, and accessible.
